Engineered and sewn in our Seattle facilities with midweight waxed cotton, this thigh-length coat continues to protect where shorter jackets leave off.The sturdy shell material comes from the historic Halley Stevensons, specialists in waxed cottons since 1864. Finished in their 'Baltic Works' factory in Dundee, Scotland, this unique fabric has a dry hand feel, yet provides outstanding water resistance. The interior is lined with our signature cotton Feather Cloth for comfort, and the sleeves with polyester twill for ease of layering. The collar is top-lined with 100% wool for warmth against the neck, and the handwarmer pockets lined with thick, comfortable cotton flannel.To ensure comfortable ease of motion, the two-way front zipper extends to hip length, and the rear hem boasts a long pleat that allows the coat to flare while seated. For comfort in frigid weather, our Trench Coat is equipped with an interior zipper that is compatible with select zip-in liners.
